The Nocturnists’ Shame in Medicine team hosted a panel at SXSW 2023. Filmmaker Sam Osborn spoke with 3 physicians who use storytelling to explore and dispel medicine’s shame culture: Dr. Emily Silverman, creator of The Nocturnists; Dr. Will Bynum, co-creator of the Shame in Medicine Project; and Dr. Gita Pensa, creator of Doctors and Litigation: The L Word, a podcast supporting physicians facing litigation.
